Kefalonia’s main shopping area is in Argostoli. There are smaller establishments, usually well stocked, in most main villages and towns.

The Lithostroto pedestrian street in Argostoli has the town’s finest stores and a number of cafes to enjoy a refreshment and exercise some serious “people watching”.

There are many souvenir shops throughout the island. Most of them stock local handicrafts and products.
